Meet the Team

Rachell Alger

My work is rooted in the belief that you already hold the strength to heal. Though, it might not always come in big, dramatic moments. More often, it looks like small, steady steps — and the courage to keep showing up. Together, we can untangle the complicated details at a pace that makes sense to you.

As a second-gen Filipina American, first-gen college student, mom, and wife, I’ve learned to navigate cultural differences, unspoken expectations, and the quiet weight of generational trauma. I’ve also learned to embrace the deep generational resilience, inner wisdom, and love my ancestors passed down. These experiences have shaped how I move in the world, especially with those I serve as a mental health professional.

I love working with the AAPI community, because I seek to honor the rich cultural nuances and contributions our communities foster — assets that are too often overlooked or undervalued. I recognize the challenges we face are often shaped by oppressive systems rooted in racism, capitalism, and colonialism. Over the years, I’ve supported BIPOC, QTPOC, caregivers, children, and families, navigating trauma, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, life transitions, parenting, poverty, and burnout. As the world becomes increasingly complex, my goal is to help you build the tools and confidence to balance both challenges and triumphs.

If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure where to begin — that’s okay. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you sort through what matters most.
